There are two days a year where there are no major U.S. sports played. The day before and after the baseball All-Star Game, which was played yesterday. These are the dog days of summer.
Side note: ESPN takes advantage of the slow news day and the Espy's are taped today (They air until Sunday night on ESPN).
Maybe this is why I had the time to start my TV blog.
