HBO2 at 1:40 a.m. (EST) - Dazed and Confused
This is an all-time cult classic. Actually, it probably passed the popularity point of being a cult classic. Great music. Kinda slooowly paced for your late night pleasure. Think Matthew
McConaughey saying that in his now legendary drawl. The Surfer Dude steals the show with lines like "That's what I love about these high school girls, man. I get older, they stay the same age".
For the basic cable viewer -
TVLand at 11:00 p.m. to 4:00 a.m. - A Roseanne marathon
I really love a marathon when i can' t sleep. Hell I love marathons all the time. Roseanne is a little dated and can be a after-school special, but it'll do in a pinch. It is 5 hours of TV in the middle of the night.
The standby - watch SportsCenter. I have fallen asleep and woken up to SC so many times over the years it has become one of the great comfort food TV shows for me. Albeit this is a terrible sports night. Pedro is a Phillie. It'll put me to sleep.
