Hung - We're all just pissing in a lake

This show has been kinda frustrating. Maybe not as frustrating as having to be a male prostitute so you can rebuild your parent's house next to your pretentious neighbor...but pretty frustrating. There is potential here in this show. There are glimmers of comedy and tinges of character. But it isn't there yet. I want more Anne Heche. More the kids. And more of the pimp-whore relationship.

This Sunday's episode featured a series of bummers ranging from annoying neighbors to stolen wallets to lost contractors to police citations. But there was also an underlying spirit of perseverance that began to show itself. There was the rebellion of flipping off the neighbor (and sowing the seeds of nailing his wife)...but more importantly there was the beginnings of a successful business, the beginnings of rebuilding a house and the beginnings of rebuilding a relationship between a mom and her kids. And maybe the beginnings of a relationship of a tv viewer and a fan.

Sometimes you have to be torn down before you can be built up again.
