I am a huge fan, a zealot actually, of Good Eats and everything else Alton Brown. I have learned to cook predominately through his show. The combination of Mr. Wizard science, history, and self deprecating humor make his show the perfect tool for answering the question "why?" in all things cooking.
Good Eats is celebrating its 10th Anniversary with a contest where you submit a photo or video letting your AB freak flag fly. The top 6 get a paid trip to a special gala in Atlanta. If you don't win, you can also buy tickets. I am also sure it will be played on Food Network hundreds of times in the near future.
I love to cook and have developed a passion for it. I love the pace, the creativity, the learning, and the eating. From time to time I will share my favorite recipes and detail the results of my culinary adventures.
