Ahh, it feels good to have this show back. It has an energy to it that is so unique. There is a rhythm to the pacing of the show that when combined with the costumes, decor, and settings makes is feel so trippy. Then there is the rampant drinking and smoking, the lack of political correctness, and copious amounts of sexual energy. This show is awesome.
This season opener was sweet. We had Don and Sal on the road, where the outright creative lying came easier to Don and the lies of repressed omission came easier to Sal. We also were reunited with Betty, who still doesn't seem to like her kids all that much, and Peggy, who we learned is a big time work-a-holic. Joan is as spicy and curvy as ever. Roger is the ultimate man's man. Pete is still a dweeb. I like the British guys, too. They make for good bad guys.
Until next week, remember...it is Don Draper's world, we are all just living in it.
