Holy S&#^ I almost forgot the most important pick tonight. The Tennessee Titans at the Pittsburgh Steelers. I can dig my man card out of the trash. Truth be told I am a Giants fan and I can't watch just any old football game. A Browns-Chiefs game in January is tortue. I am a baseball guy first. But this is the first game of the year. I miss football a little. If I had to root for a team other than the Giants, it would be Pittsburgh. I love the style of football. Blue collar. Tough. Run the ball. Stop the run. Blitz on every play. Linebackers and running backs. Win the game and to hell with stats.
On the other hand, if I had to pick a player other than a Giant to root for, it would be Kerry Collins. He is a Penn State boy (from the best college team of my lifetime) and he is a Giant at heart. I choose the remember the NFC Championship game against the Vikings and not the Super Bowl beat down.
Steelers starting 22 were all major contributors last year. They are at home. Opening night. Pittsburgh will pull away in the 4th quarter. 27-17
