I have been busy with move and the weddings just life in general. I am craving a return to normalcy. I fear I have become a creature of routine. Is that such a bad thing? After all, organization will set you free. Having to put your life in boxes and then take it all out again is a mind-numbingly tedious and long task. And it is just the tip of the home owning iceberg. But I digress.
In the spirit of being my own ombudsman, due to the above mentioned issues, I have let a few things slide by that I regret. These three show I neglected to tell you about were all worth watching and probably very cool. I dropped the ball. Will it happen again? Mos def. You will never be able to watch every thing there is. Deal with it. Anyway here are the shows...
The Last Truck - the documentary about a GM truck plant closing in Ohio. It is done is classic HBO style and tugs at all the right heartstrings. You can catch this On Demand or rerun the numerous times it will be on HBO family of channels in the next month.
SportsCenter 30th Anniversary Special - Can you believe there was life before SportsCenter? While it is a mere shadow if its former self, it is still the background noise for millions of men in around the world. I can watch the same hour of highlights over and over to see if I missed a good joke or play. The mistakes made by the anchors were the best. And the commercials. Classic. So they aired a special . Will they re-air it? I dunno. I will try to find out. In the meantime, check out the highlights.
Lastly, there was Jon Gosslin's train wreck of a performance last night on ABC. He said he despises Kate. He blames the show. He admits to drinking a lot. This guy is circling the drain. Or having the time of his life. Or both. Click here for a story.
